Does anyone know of anyone stocking working demos?

Looking at the one instead of an S3 mini (they've shot up in price sim free)

Disappointed at the lack of sd slot, but I'm sure swmbo would cope with 16gb version

Main thing for me is Swmbo tries it, as there's been something wrong with the last 3 despite each being faster than the last.

Couldn't find any demos so yesterday ordered from Amazon (as had vouchers from topcashback to use) for her Christmas present.

Delivery says unlikely before Christmas though. :(

Last 3 years it's been HMV letting me down.

Xperia Z/Z1 or S4 Active may be a better idea if she uses her phone in the bath. My Z gets a daily clean by being chucked in the bottom of the shower in the morning. 

Ordered my Dad one from Tesco mobile PAYG for £129.99. That was the 16GB version. I've SIM unlocked for £12 so he can put in his Vodafone SIM. It was cheaper to do it that way than buying SIM free from Amazon.

That's a no brainier then! Not had much of a play but first impressions are excellent

Well it arrived today and swmbo has been given it early.

We're both really impressed with the speed and spec. So glad I didn't get an S3 mini.

The transfer app also took care of everything bar a few apps which needed their data backing up and bluetoothing over.

Google sync did the rest including Wifi passwords and it was in her hand within 30 minutes.

I also got her a flip cover which replaces the rear cover in violet but it looks more pink to us.

Still plenty of brownie points earnt
