500 Internal Server Error. A generic error message, given when no more specific message is suitable.

 

Had a lot of these lately, anyone got an idea why?

Where are you seeing these messages? I've been having it on Youtube this evening.

 

Typically is down to scripts not executing correctly, and therefore cannot give a specific error message.

I think they are working on updating some scripts.

 

As it says in the custom 500 error page they have. Their highly trained monkeys are working hard to resolve it.

 

I gave up on Youtube about 10mins ago, but looks like it is working again for me :-)

500 is not a problem with your PC. It's a problem on the web server.
