How much discount would you ask for?

Featured Replies

You'd probably get that out.

We have a compressed air fed chemical cleaner for dodgy stains and it's amazing.

Will even make carpet tiles that have been doen for 5 years with greasy boots on them come up like new...

Hi!

Didn't vote since I would try to get £200 off to cover the cost for a good interior recond or maybe just a £100 to cover the front if that is the worst part, and £100-200 was not an option ... :drunk:

(This would cover it in Sweden at least ... ;-)

Have a nice day!

Hahahaaaa, LOL!!!

Good point!! You are right, the obvious choice is to just walk away!!

Tell them to get it in for a valet, or if they refuse then just get a carpet cleaner to come and clean it for you, shouldn't cost any more than £50 so that's what I voted. But I'd ask for £200 off anyway, it's worth trying, then haggle down.

Is it a fast car or something? haha

500, but I'd ask for £500 off even if it was perfect. Never pay full price!

There is no way that I'd sit in that seat knowing that I could be sitting in another persons man juice  God only knows what the back seats look like....

Or could it have come (no pun intended) from an excited lady???

Down to £12,000

If there's something that you're not happy with and they are willing to fix it, then i would be happy with less off (+ some warranty and what ever else they offer)

If you are dealing cash make a silly offer if you are serious and work up to your Max...simples.

If you are talking hpi etc then straight away you are on the back foot, not so much to bargain with.

I save up and only do cash! pretty amazing what deals are to be had for cash :)

I should make it clear I'm not buying this car I was just browsing around and spotted this one with the suspicious stain.

The previous owner must have lead a very tame life indeed for a 200CDI to have cause such an involuntary eruption either that or it was a long lonely life on the road for someone. Hopefully he's opted for leather this time.

I'd ask for several thousand off for a car with an interior styled on that of a Vauxhall

there's many a time I've had to wipe up 'special sauce' from the seat :( I go to Burger King nowadays :)

In reality most cars have had some 'action' in them. Just some are more discrete and clean up or dont make a 'mess' to begin with. Its almost like the previous owner was proud, it was like a show and tell item!

Right come on who voted for £0 - I like it (1 votes [8.33%])????
