A minor bugbear that seems to affect our Fabia is the sliding cover on the mirror of the drivers side sun visor.  When the visor is in the down position the cover slowly vibrates itself open after a couple of minutes, meaning I have to keep closing it or put up with staring at the reflection of my ugly mug!

 

Does anyone have a mod or quick fix for this issue please?

or use a bit of tape to keep it closed.

That ****es me off as well! Not enough to actually do anything about it though, but I'm that type of person lol.

I'm going to try to lever the cover outwards slightly to see if that makes a difference.  If not, hopefully a little piece of foam backed tape on the underside of the cover will create enough friction to hold it in place.
