Vrs - new wheels rubbing- coilovers?

Featured Replies

Hi lads I've a 07 octavia Vrs. I splashed out €800 on new wheels and I'm disappointed to see that they are rubbing on the rear arches.

Is there any way I can stiffen the rear suspension without spending a fortune...

I cannot spend much on this, any help would be appreciated, or anyone selling a cheap set of rear coilovers....

Cheers lads

First question is.

What are the wheels and what are the offset?

Whatever it is they are not right for the car.

Where do they rub, you can always remove the arch liner and roll the archs

how much would rolling the arches cost?

They are big, i dont have the dimensions with me...

The outside tip of the tyre is rubbing going over speed humps...

Cheers for advice

Would this solve the rubbing issue? Im in Ireland, i must find a place that does it

Sell and buy wheels that fit? Guessing if you're on standard suspension it's going to look awful with rolled arches coupled with massive (standard) arch gap.

Back to the drawing board and understand suspension and wheels sizes and offsets...
