Front Seat Runner Bolts

Featured Replies

So someone dropped a lighter in the runner of my front passenger seat. It slid all the way to the back of the runner and seat is also all the way back in terms or sliding, the seat will not slide forward as the lighter is stopping it.

Now I have had a look and it seems the Spline bolts have been removed before and have been rounded off.

My question is, where can I get replacement bolts? Is it dealer only? Or have others found alternative bolts? Hex/Torx Head perhaps?

Any help would be great as I'm looking to get this sorted ASAP. I have a long drive over Christmas with my wife and children in the car, so would be ace if I can get it sorted sharpish for their comfort.

Thanks.

I'd just go to the dealer for stuff like that. Cost about 80p each maybe?

77p each from the dealer in July when i got some. Come with thread lock on too ready to go.

Got mine from skodaparts.com think they was 54p

Can someone tell me the name of the tool bit that is used for these spline bolts.

:)
