Seized rear camber bushes

Featured Replies

Following a new set of rubber, had the old bus geo'd this week.

Unfortunately the eccentric spindles for adjusting the rear camber have seized in their bushes.  Is there a replacement bush rather than changing the whole arm?  If not, is there a decent alternative to the OEM item.

Thanks

Everything else set to spec, everything good.  Steering now more balanced, the slight pull which had developed has gone, so feels lighter.  As I prefer a more weighted feel, may get back to Mat and have a play.

Mat tried really hard to get them freed off (2 hours total) but had to give it best in the end - rear camber still a few minutes out.

ps.  Used Mat Smith sportscars, unit1e Sovereign Way, Downham Market, so local to me. Recommended.

Mat's core business is TVR's.  Particularly the chassis side.  Nice, knowledgeable bloke.

You can get bushes (I have some new ones in the garage going cheap) but I replaced the whole arms as time was a factor. Were the rear toe eccentric bolts free? I ended up replacing all the rear arms and the 4 eccentric bolts on mine.
