seat belt warning lights

Featured Replies

Recently the seat belt warning light and sound has randomly started to go off even though I've got my seat belt on.Has anybody else had this problem?

Not heard of anyone mentioning this yet

Something on passenger seat with a bit of weight could do it?

Yep.... usually handbag on passenger seat....

Unload handbag?

Unload handbag?

I agree but how heavy is it? I've had a 6 pint milk container and fish & chips on my passenger seat yesterday and my seatbelt warning didn't show.

Just remembered, about 6 weeks back, I went to the shop and bought 2 four pint milks and placed them on the seat of my wifes Peugeot 208

That kept setting off the seatbelt warning.

Ended up plugging the belt in just to shut it up!

Maybe, do what you normally do but plug the belt in if you like having your bag on the passenger seat
