A quick hi from a new Dutch/French member.

 

I'm currently living in a cute little country town in one of France's historical regions (and also the county from where an ancestor migrated to the Netherlands, a couple of generations ago), at least for as long as I'm "between contracts" (something that can last awhile, unfortunately, these days).

 

After using my Moto Guzzi Norge 1200 GT as my sole means of motorised transport, I've recently obtained my car driver's license (well before my 50th birthday ), and finally decided to buy a used Octavia Combi 1.6TDI from October 2009 (an ex-leasing car owned by Volkswagen before me). Apart from not having managed, as yet, to obtain an average mileage as advertised, I'm quite satisfied with the car.
