I own a 2013 superb.140 diesel

when the ign is turned on the dash self checks all the system ie airbag;abs etc.the only thing that does not work is the oil light.

I cannot get a straight answer from my dealer as to why and is very coy as to an answer to the problem

does anyone have same problem or an answer.

I'm going to say it before someone else does... read the manual or 'RTFM' as it is often referred to on here!

 

The oil check light does not have it's own light on the dash.

 

The 'low oil' warning appears in the Maxidot display instead.

 

Therefore you won't see the oil can light check when the ignition is turned on.
