Well it appears I joined the forum back in 2008 and I think I was looking for an Octavia Vrs at the time but ended up in something else.

 

I put a deposit on a new model Superb yesterday and will be picking it up from Ayr Skoda later this week. 

 

I would have loved the estate but it is to replace my broken 07 Passat Sport TDi so budget would not stretch quite that far.

 

I will be using it as a taxi as they have an amazing reliability record and look like they have even more legroom than my old Signum.

 

I live in the Scottish Borders, this is my first Skoda but car number 36 or 37.  I am a full time Dad and taxi in the evenings and weekends to help pay the bills.  I have two kids, 5 and 2.

 

I will no doubt be asking daft questions (like what is Catvision) and hope for your forbearance from a novice.
