Not much good to me then as all my driving is done im the dark lol

Any ideas on good replacement bulbs without the yellow tinge?

I used Cobalt H4s on my old pug to good effect.

A couple of quid each on eBay and really pierced deep into the darkness with a bright white, way better than the crap on my Octavia.

Magic i will have a look. I got a tug for my hids which i was expecting ( they were fitted when i got it) ive changed all the white light to led and want to keep it clean looking.

I've got them in my main beams. They're crap, no light out put at all.

I've got bi-xenons, and the full beams are just used as a DRL (running at 6v, not 12v), so I don't need them to be bright. (I like the colour temp, and the immediacy they change brightness with for flashing compared to the halogens they've replaced.)

If you wanted to use them to see, don't waste your money!

Thanks for the advice guys. Had a look on ebay at the cobalt one's so may give them a bash.

if you do want a set I have some main beam ones for a very reasonable price lol

I dont think you will find the same output of LED emitters on aftermarket bulbs as you would find OEM from Audi, ive seen LED dipped and main on Audi A8,s and they are super bright, def up there with HID.

Bulbs that have a blue or any colour coating on the glass actually lower the light output, think about. The blue tint has an effect on eyes of appearing brighter, just get some standard bulbs if your worried about cost.

OEM LED headlights are designed from the ground up to be LED headlights.

Simply replacing the standard incandescent bulb with an aftermarket LED bulb is going to dissapoint.

Take a look at any of the pictures on here of people who have replaced their standard DRL's with LED's. Despite their assurances that they are better they are never as bright when viewed as they should be (up to a quarter of a mile away as opposed to being stood in front of the car on the drive!).

Take a look at the latest Seat Leon with its LED headlights. I passed one the other morning and they look even better than xenon's.
