lost all power (no boost?)

Featured Replies

as above fault code 17564 manifold abs pressure sensor circ any idea guys?

Any more details?  It sounds like the MAP sensor saw over or under boost but usually it says whether boost was lower or higher than requested,  Or at least VCDS will. :)

N75 fault, boost control, gone into limp home mode.

So not the N75 boost control solenoid then? Seems like the MAP sensors working fine. What's a vacuum box?

Vacuum box IS the N75 - Its that black box in the top left over the O/S suspension strut with 6 vacuum pipes coming off it.

I would imagine its sensing overboost/underboost for other reasons - eg: sticky turbo vanes = overboost - leaking boost pipe joint = underboost.  I wouldn't start changing the sensors telling you there is an issue - go fix the issue the sensors are telling you is happening. :D

Ahhh, was caught out by the 'thingummyjig' description, was racking my brain trying to figure it out
