Question for you peeps.

Why would you not leave a Vrs in sport mode all the time when it has a manual gearbox?

You get a more responsive steering. The only down side is if you don't like the fake engine sound generator.

Am I right, or wrong?

I'm happy to get peoples opinions on what I've been thinking of doing when my car finally arrives.

The steering isn't more responsive, there's just less assistance to and you think that. The car drives the same and performance is exactly the same as the other modes, it just handed steering weight and throttle response amongst others to ale it feel sportier.....

I'm still not sure about it, rather than feeling 'sporty' it's just feels like there's something wrong with the power steering....

same here to the point where my individual setting is sport everything except the steering wheel (aircon on eco)

On the test drive I found the steering felt a lot like my TVR's when I put it into sport mode, I liked it.

Depending on spec-

Throttle (Eco, normal, sport)

Steering (normal, sport)

Air con (Eco, normal)

Cornering lights (I don't know the options as I don't have this spec'd lol)

I tend to find my car does a lot less mpg in sport mode but that might be because it encourages me to drive quicker. It also feels more responsive but again that might just be psychological

It's certainly more responsive in Sport mode. Tuesday night she overtook a Land Rover towing a trailer as if it was standing still.
