Brought some Osram Xenarc CBI 5000K D1S bulbs from eBay

Not sure whether they are genuine or not but they certainly look the real deal. They have a nice solid construction to them and the outer ignitor tube looks correct. 

First swap I have done on some D1S bulbs and they are far easier than any H7s i've done! They are a simple rotate and remove, swap the plastic cage over and plug in the new one. I unplugged the cluster completely though so there was no energy available to the bulbs. Although the Superb headlights aren't as easy to service as my old 'Tavia there is lots of room and easy access (maybe not on a V6 though  ). I have also upgraded the main beams to Nightbreaker+ Unlimited H3 for a better light blend with the bi-xenons.
