I've had my car repaired. I've noticed under the fuel filler cap there is a small tube/hole that sticks out a few mm. Never seen or noticed it before (I'm sure there wasn't one originally)

 

Anyone know what it is, is it meant to be there? Do you have thi on your fabia?

as previously mentioned, it's a drain hole, it's connected to a silicone tube that sits under the rear arch liner. It's to drain away spilt/ excess fuel and rain water

Fitted also to,,,,,,,,,,,MkI Octavia, MkI Octavia FL, MkII Octavia, MkII Octavia FL, MkIII Octavia, MkI Fabia, MkI Fabia FL, MkII Fabia, MkII Fabia FL, The Roomster, and probably the Rapid and CitiGo but I can't confirm the latter two.
