TMC Tuning Kit

Featured Replies

Hi Guys,

I'm thinking about selling my TMC tuning kit as i want to get my fabia custom remapped, i paid £400 for it and i know im going to lose money. I am just wondering what kind of offers people would give. The box itself is a very easy install and makes quite a difference to the car, i ran it on setting 7 which gave me a difference of my 0-60 been 0.5 seconds quicker than before the box, this impressed me quite a bit tbh but i did see no difference in MPG on that setting. The lower settings i saw a difference of 3-5 MPG depending on which you use. There are 1-9 settings on the box itself, So offers please guys?

Thanks Ryan

you need to join freedom to sell on here my friend ;)

Im not selling the box right now but thinking about it depending on what people would offer.

Thanks Ryan

OK - reopened as OP has signed up to freedom.  You now have the "freedom" to advertise it properly with photos etc in the classifieds section, should you so wish.

I reckon you could get 270-300 for it.

That's how much I'd pay for a used one.

With packaging and instructions...... ;-)

think I sold mine for £250........

as above £250 ish and I think you would have no trouble selling providing all kit is in good condition and boxes, manual etc

Cheers guys, all of it is in perfect condition tbh, ive not had it long. Its just my car is still under the warranty so i dont know whether i want to void it or not :S

Maybe the VRS kit is easier to sell, but ive had mine out for 150 for quite some time now with just some people sending PM's..

Then mine is barely used and about 6months old

Sorry Snowman, I can only suggest that vRS owners might take more interest in tuning/modifying there cars than 1.2tsi owners.

Expect this will change when more Monte's come out of warranty.
