I'll take some tomorrow to show you as I need to work out which camera shows them off best, they make the car look younger and more modern. 2 lads in work couldn't believe the difference when they noticed how fresh and bright my interior looked, what a great cheap little upgrade.

Can you give links to the correct bulbs please?

Any coding requirements?

No coding needed it's just a straight swap. U need to make sure they are the canbus friendly version that's all, I'll post a link to all the LED's I purchased later, also some pics of them fitted and illuminated!

TIA :)

I'd like to see the ones in the rear light clusters for the tail lights.

Did you swap them all?

1x Brake / tail (21W/4W)

2x Tail (3W)

1x Fog / tail (21W/4W)

No only the two 501 w5w side lights, I've not touched the cluster yet!

Do they cast a nice, white light or does it have a blue tint? My number plate LEDs are a bit on the blue side and I'd like some white sidelights.

Some pics but they are not great as they don't truly do the LED's justice!

None of the interior lights, nor the puddle lights *need* to be CANBus friendly. They're not part of the error-reporting system. My current puddle-lights are certainly not CANBus friendly, but do cast a nice Skoda logo onto the ground ;)

When I changed the rear W5W's I found that they were almost as bright as having the brake-lights on. The other set made the lights look more orange than red. Getting it spot on is a delicate art. Am looking to get Dectane LED clusters at some point.

The other thing I noticed was if the front ones are too bright, they can drown out the indicators.

They are all Xenon white I don't think there's anything blue about them. Maybe the front side lights might look a little blue but compared to my 5000k white xenon HID's but that's all.

Thats odd because I bought non-canbus friendly LED festoons first but they wouldn't work on my interior lights and rear number plate???

My interior lights are all non-canbus including the boot. My number plate LED's have been coded so again non-canbus.

The number-plate is CANBus, and not interior. ;)

All mine came from Fizzmo.

These are the W5W I used (and are still going) from them:

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/4x-501-T10-W5W-CAPLESS-WEDGE-5-SMD-LED-HID-6000K-WHITE-SIDE-LIGHT-BULBS-L-K-/120897660499?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item1c260fe653

The only time I got any errors was when I put them in the front sidelights. Even with in-line resistors, after a while of use (about 6 months) they started to flicker and die due to lack of heat disipation for long-time use (as in the side-lights can be on for hours in a night).

Could you post the links to the bulbs please? Ta

The OP already has done.

Ahh yes, cheers :)

All my interior lights are non canbus. Really liking the parks though. Are there four parking lights to the rear? I know of the two at the front!
