Front end knocking/rattle

Right guys just a heads up. I've a front end rattle which sounded like a bush or ball joint only to be told by a few places that checked all the front bushes etc that they were all fine, this include the Skoda dealership my dads worked for.

Got to the problem today. Its the original pads that were rattling in the caliper about the thickness of a credit card. 45k taxi miles so changed that pads. The 2 hooks on the top/bottom of the pads that hold them in place, well the paint had worn away just enough to make the rattle.
