Combi boot storage 'bins'

Featured Replies

Not actually sure what to call it but on mine there's a little plastic 'partition' on the left hand side of the boot creating a great place to put small items of shopping and stuff to stop them sliding around......  But ive seen other cars with it on the right (when they have canton there's a big box on the right) but also some cars with the 'partition' on both sides....

Anyone know if it would be possible to fit it to the right where at there minute there is nothing?...

The partition on the "other" side is available as an optional extra in most regions (not available with Canton, as you said).

I took it, cost 10€. I suggest you ask your dealer if they can fit it?

I'd quite like this too if it's available to retrofit!

P

I would rather like this too, might have to speak to the local dealer

Why did they replace the closing covers from MKII with this? That's what I'd like to know. Same on the Superb FL.

Because the new style bins are miles better, proper bloody useful.

I guess it depends on how much stuff you carry in them :) Both my boot side pockets are full to the top. Tow rope, jump leads, various straps for strapping things into the boot/roof, air pump.

I aws the same in my mkII, now a stuff like that fits under the boot floor even with the spare wheel so now the bins are available for shopping and stuff and they're great!

I find foldable hooks very useful for shopping. You can hang just about anything on them as long as it's not too heavy.

The elegance comes with the variable boot floor and no side bins and I miss them from the Fabia.

I do not think they can be fitted with the variable floor, on the left side of the car there is a shallow storage try area under the floor.

You don't get them on the variable boot floor, as I have that and no side bins.

Anyone got a part number ?

Anyone have a photo of said bins?
