After trying many times to connect my iPhone 5 to my Bolero unit via Bluetooth, I just can't seem to get it to connect. Any suggestions?

Also, pushing the phone button mutes the music, is there a way to make these use the phone functions etc?

Is there a way to upgrade the normal dash display to maxidot?

Do you have a Bluetooth module under the driver's seat (or other location)?

If you press the phone button you should get access to the address book, etc. so it sounds like you've not got one installed.

You can get the display upgraded to Maxidot but its not cheap and there are not many aces that will do it.

Black box about 6" x 4" x 1".

It's the only thing that gets put under the driver's seat from the factory that I know of.

Just checked. Nothing under the seat so I assume I can't connect it?

If you (or the original owner) didn't specify the Bluetooth as a factory fit option then there isn't anything for your phone to connect to.

You're not the first (and won't be the last) to think that...

It's not too difficult or expensive to retrofit with genuine Skoda / VAG parts. Or cheaper still to use non-OE equipment.
