Both the park assist and the MDI interface seems to work fine. What could be causing these errors?

good luck finding some vcds advice on the Park assist fault. hardly anyone has it.

I think you should look at the MDI coding for the first fault with the MDI

the 2nd one is due to leaving the lead connected to the socket and unplugging the device

park assist fault have no idea and I'm sure if you ask ross-tech they will tell you that it shouldn't be fitted to your car

The interesting part is that the park assist works fine, despite the error.

what I mean by unplugging the device

Aux-in Socket > 3,5 jack > (mobile, ipod, mp3 player etc)

I have found that if you leave the 3,5 jack in the socket but unplug the device it will cause the Aux-in fault. Although if you unplug the 3,5 jack then there is no fault

The fault with the park assist is due to the module not finding a module in the car.

The part number you have is for the magotan "Chinese Passat"

Passat will have several modules that your Laura won't have

Thanks! I shall check on the Aux-IN socket. As for the Park-Assist, the module was imported from Czech republic and its a genuine module for VW. Do they sell the china version modules directly from Czech? I hope this error is not a serious issue. The park assist system works fine, though!

Please find the picture of the PLA module.

In India, the Skoda after sales support (including Skoda India) is really pathetic and most owners resort to themselves when it comes to service, support and repair.

part number is definately for chinese Magotan (vw passat)

see what the vehicle type is in the coding

First off, I would delete the fault codes and see if they come back, if they do then I would start the investigation. No point chasing after a fault if it isn't there anymore.

Not sure about the date shown on the park assist fault readout, 2016.14.02?

Hmmm.... I did not notice the difference in the date;

Here's the full scan details: I'm noticing there is a "park/steering assist" and "Steering assist". Are these related in anyway?

Whilst in France last week my car received an infotainment update, The car is a 2024 Octavia Vrs diesel hatchback, with a reversing camera retrofitted by East Yorkshire Retrofit. After the update two odd things happened. Firstly the reversing camera did not work at all the first time I reversed the car after the update. Then it worked, but instead of the full screen showing the camera view, it is now two thirds camera view and one third a top-down outline of the car with curved lines showing the

We bought a 2024 Skoda Karoq 1.5 SE L back in May this year. Pretty much ever since we've had it, the front wiper will periodically (randomly) wipe the windscreen when there's blue skies and no rain. Sometimes it will wipe once, sometimes three or even four times. It has been doing this seemingly more frequently in the last couple of weeks when we were away on holiday. I'm looking at a 2020 Kamiq SEL as a second car, which has the fairly rare 'adaptive' cruise control (not 'predictive adaptive'). I've had mixed experiences with ACC on two Citroens. My recent C5 has it, and it works great and very smoothly so long as you remember that all it really does is keep you on station with the car in front and stop you running into it.
