Spurs look's like a normal 5 spoke wheels, Muliners stand out from the crowd. Would Black Muliners look good on my Octy?

I'd question the logic of fitting a thousand pounds worth of heavy wheels off an £80k car to a Skoda with £150 springs for 3 months of the year.   But thats my opinion

  • Give me strength, I'm all for making my car look better but it still needs to perform as a 'car'!      At least we know where most of them come from...

If it was lowered properly, yes ;)

I went for the mulliners mate. Came up at a bargain price so just snapped them up. This might help your decision. Not the best pic

cant see insurance having a problem, no different from fitting any 5×112 9j rims really.

I went for the Bentleys because i like the look of them simple as that. And i got them at a price you would pay for some cheap chinese crap. Also if you find some with decent tyres you can sell them and the tyre pressure monitors for a few £ to go towards your new rubber :-)

The mulliners fit perfect with 225 tyres, no scrubbing at all :-)

I think both look great on the occy, theres someone on here with the spurs and looked really good

I salute you. They look very nice indeed.

Where do all these bentley wheels come from? I don't see thousands of bentleys driving around with aftermarket wheels?

Hoisty perhaps?

You just have to get really lucky to find some really. The few Bentley wheels that do come up, owners have usually gone for something bigger, guy who i got mine off had 22" kahns fitted to his :-)

Helios off a Superb look nice too.

Loads on wheel-whores classifieds.

275's would never fit so no worry there. Does every mod you do require skoda's approval? That's tosh.

My ins goes on Bhp not mods, I can run upto 300bhp and do any modification without the premium increasing.

Coilovers it is :) I've got my eyes peeled in search of Muliners, edition 38, wheel whores and even Bentley forums lol. I've seen Spurs on sale for £725 or best offer, but all 4 wheels need refurb, the colour on the wheels looks shyte!

225's will be an easy set up on the Octy, 275's Hell Nooo.

Bentley drivers are desperately snapping up Skoda wheels so that they can blend in better. I would post a pic of my Bentley but the housekeeper is out in it at the moment . . .

They are not really paying £1500, keep them a year or 2 and maybe lose £300 come resale.

Cmon even Skoda are jumping on the bandwagon now with 19" options.

People have different tastes.

These look really good, nice wheels, not too low...

This looks terrible.

If I saw this on the road I'd just assume the driver was really fat, and he was taking his equally fat family to the airport with all their luggage in the boot...

That's on air.

Both look good imo.

OK, so Bentley wheels are desirable by some for their Octavias. But who in their right minds will pay £1400 or £1500 for a set of wheels before they even start thinking of tyres??? Crackers!

Mike

I totally agree and it's the only reason I've gone off them. A lot of it is 'scene' tax tbh.

Bentley wheels on a Skoda?  It just seems ridiculous.

Porsche wheels on a skoda? Also sounds rediculous. Nothing ever gets said!

Hmm, Ferrari alloys... and rusty arches

That's his passat estate daily, think the wheels are worth more than the car tbh

Probably caused by the rubbing

It's not just on Skoda, but a lot a VAG owners have fitted Bentley rims. I've went to a few club meets and seen them in the flesh. Ferrari wheels? Hell nooo lol, Ferrari and Passat are not in the VAG group.

Bentleys are common now, Ferrari wheels work same as the p38 landrover mondials. Passat is in the vag group?.

It's all about being different and not following everyone else imo.

If you like the Bentleys then go for it, it's your car at the end of the day. Do it how you want and not everyone else.

The wheels I'm going for are common in the 'scene' but I've chose them because I like them and I've never seen them fitted on a mk2.

That's the plan, Bentley Muliners on coilovers. Meant to say VAG as in Volkswagen Audi Group. Most members commented don't seem to like the decision, but I'm sticking with my guns.

VW Polo GTi wheels look good on the Series 1 Fabia too IMO.
