I'd question the logic of fitting a thousand pounds worth of heavy wheels off an £80k car to a Skoda with £150 springs for 3 months of the year.   But thats my opinion

  • Give me strength, I'm all for making my car look better but it still needs to perform as a 'car'!      At least we know where most of them come from...

I think I prefer the Spurs, but I'd need to see them both on a car

I dont like either of them on a octy, looks ok on a bentley......sorry.

Nice wheels. Massively heavy though.

Oh and you're talking about dropping the car on springs aren't you? To do Bentleys properly you need to be low so coilovers or air would be the way to go IMHO,

Whatever wheels I get I will only put them on in the summer for 3 months then back in the garage. Yep, coilovers or springs... I'm leaning towards springs 30mm drop. Reason I'm going for springs, cause they won't be no rubbing, no harsh ride, and can give a blast on the motorway.

Spurs

But thats my opinion  :giggle:

Muliners for me.

lol...I agree expensive wheels on lowered springs? Nahhh...What's the best coilovers to get? I can stretch it up to £500ish?

If I can get vote on which wheels to get, then I will go for them. So far it's a draw 1 Muliners, 1 Spurs.

Not keen on either really, but if I had to choose it would be the Muliners.

Rather have my octy ones, think they're both fairly ugly. Chalk that one up as an 'undecided' if you like. :)

Coils - APs or Weitecs for a little more.

I'm running APs and I really like them. Speak with Damian @ DPM if you want some sound advice.

Out of those 2 the Mulliners: look more 'Bentley'. Others fairly ordinary to my uneducated eyes.

Are you sure they will fit? 9" and et41is going to be tight.

There's a red one in the projects section with muliners on and it looks pretty good. The car needs to be low to pull them off tho imo, there are a lot nicer wheels out there tbh.

If I had to choose out of the 2 the muliners get my vote

I will decide for you, leave bentley wheels for a bentley. They will look crap.

The Mulliners are the better looking wheel, but IMO the Spurs will look better on an Octavia as they're less 'Bentley'.

If you really are aiming for an obviously Bentley look, go for the Mulliners as they are *that* obvious.

But I do agree with others, if you just want a good looking wheel for an Octavia, there are better options for your money.

I went for the mulliners mate. Came up at a bargain price so just snapped them up. This might help your decision. Not the best pic

cant see insurance having a problem, no different from fitting any 5×112 9j rims really.

I went for the Bentleys because i like the look of them simple as that. And i got them at a price you would pay for some cheap chinese crap. Also if you find some with decent tyres you can sell them and the tyre pressure monitors for a few £ to go towards your new rubber :-)

The mulliners fit perfect with 225 tyres, no scrubbing at all :-)

I think both look great on the occy, theres someone on here with the spurs and looked really good

Thanks for the opinions, kinda helped me decide what to get. Muliners will be fitted on my Octy that's my final decision. Some may hate it, some may like it. Those Muliners on your Skoda looks stunning, is it on coilovers? Do you have any more pics? :) Will you be selling them soon? I was initially going for BBS Audi Speediline wheels, but now changed my mind. Like K17KEO said, I can make good profit on these Muliners when it comes to selling.

Someone was selling Muliners for £999, but wrong tyre size 275/40/19's. He wouldn't sell them without tyres, so declined the offer at that price.

yes mine is on coilovers mate, still need to fine adjust till im happy with the height.

Yes you are talking £250 a corner for decent 275's so few £ to be had from them second hand, then the tyre pressure monitors go for £50 a set aswell, just make sure your tyre fitter knows they are in there or chances are they will get broke when removing tyres.

Will try and get some more pics mate keep meaning to take some.

Thats not a bad price if they are mint and done need a refurb. Mine wernt too bad but wanted them mint so split them and had fully powder coated

What's the best coilovers to get, I know many have said KW/Weitec? Would 275 fit on my car without rubbing? I was thinking 225/35/19 on all 4 tyres. I'm not going for runflats, ride will be too stiff and harsh. I'll most probably go to my local VAG specialist, they know there stuff.

That is a good price but can't buy the wheels now, as going on holiday tomorrow and won't be back till mid Jan.

Look forward to them pics :)

I have KW v1's and impressed with them. 275's no chance!! I have 225's and the rears are close, would imagine you will get some scrubbing with any wider

Not my taste on a vRS but the Mulliner is the much nicer design wheel, the spurs are very plain. As on K17KEO's they'd look nice in an anthracite with silver rim.
