Demon Shine Snow Foam

Featured Replies

Has anyone tried this? With not having the joys of a pressure washer at present any thoughts on this would be appreciated.

The RS is caked after the governors missus had it for the last couple of weeks and time/weather permitting it will get a good going over on Sunday, so a decent pre wash is a must.

It's an 'acceptable' Snow Foam that will cling and clean when put through a proper lance, forget the built in venturi spray nozzle on the large bottle it barely produces suds, even with a proper lance it's nowhere near the likes of an Autobrite Magifoam or Bilt Hamber.  Problem I found with the built in applicator is without good foam the product can't cling and get to work properly, making it little more than a hose rinse.

As you are without a PW, if you and can get to an Asda/Halfords (think Asda have it cheaper) then I really rate the Demon Ranges "Rapid Dirt Shifter" as a pre wash mixed 1-1 with water in a £2.00 garden centre type pump sprayer.  If no sprayer used neat from the spray bottle it does a fine job too.  For me it works best applied to a dry car before the first rinse and given some dwell time.  Also very good for doing door shuts and detail work when agitated with a round brush.

Top man. So, not worth a carrot then  :D

I suppose to save bu66ering around with spray bottles etc I might as well just go and by a PW or raid the old mans garage  :bandit:

Thanks again

The Rapid Dirt Shifter comes with a trigger spray nozzle on the bottle and is happy to be used undiluted.

If you just treat the lower half you should whip around the car in a couple of minutes and it's a nice product to have in the kit bag as it will do engines, wheel arches, door shuts really well too.  Plus in my case is handy when I don't fancy digging out the PW.

£6.00 vs cost of PW + SF Lance, but that sir is your perogative.

Good luck, happy to help :)

Sounds like the way to go pre-xmas. I can just imagine the looks on the kids faces coming Christmas day, "there you go kids, a new pressure washer and snow foam lance, just what you wanted"

It's only one thread up from this so every chance you have seen it but this is probably the best lance and foam offer going at the moment

£45.00 Karcher K2 from the outlet and you're laughing.

I use a K2 and AB lance and I've not seen any other more expensive set ups that do a better job.  Typically can get a good 20 mins cling from Magifoam with right conditions.

...and it's even cheaper at the moment at Asda...£4.80 instead of £6! Just ordered some...thanks for the info.
