Clean Interior

Featured Replies

Right then Guys & Gals,

So, does anyone have any recommendations/favourites for cleaning that lovely white/grey interior?

Ours would benefit from a nice clean but I'm not wanting to soak the car as its winter, so are there any sprays/foams that you use?

Thanks in advance!

Autoglym interior foam is great for both. Buy in this weather with the family having trouble keeping the carpet clean. Next summer I'm going to look into replacing the entire carpet to black!

Are these alright to use on the seats?

Yep the auto glym is, it's also safe for plastics. I spray it on. Leave it couple of mins then rub gently with a soft brush. Comes up sparkling white. The carpets I use a hard bristle brush them once dry hoover over.

Rug doctors are awesome!

Far better than a vax house spec cleaner

Then once a week when hoovering car, a microfibre and some cheapo tesco carpet foam cleaner to just keep it nice and clean. Just basically wipe it in!

My interior was spotless

is it ok to use on the seats though?

I don't fancy being shouted at coz the Mrs looks like she has ****ed her pants after a trip to the shop! lol

Yeah just lets the seats dry off properly, they'll only be slightly damp anyhoo.

Rug Doctor

Who's rug doctor and where's his surgery ?;)

Tesco, B&Q, Homebase, etc. £20ish a day + shampoo. Make sure you get the handtool as that's what you use to do a car interior.
