Diesel...

Featured Replies

Yep it replaces the ordinary diesel. It does make a difference in my car. On my regular commute I get at least 500 on Shell and I am lucky to get 450 on Tesco and 470 on other supermarket fuel. I hate Tescos Bio-diesel mix....

I got 472 miles on a tank of Asda sludge last week, and had some fairly "spirited" driving on the way to Cardiff and back.

Went to Berlin in June to see Rammstein, and got 440 on a tank of Shell, but I was cruising at 90+ for 300 miles of that heading back to the Hoek in the wee hours of the morning.

I am going to have to get more scientific about this and stick with one brand for a while, but then it's like owning the scoobie again ...... some of the others will know the "Borrocks, no optimax ...... on to the next one" syndrome :)
