Brake Fluid and Coolant change

Featured Replies

Wife has been quoted £118 by SEAT for a Brake Fluid and Coolant change on her '60' Ibiza. Is this normal or would it be worth going to an indy?

Not too confident doing it myself to be honest.

That's tooooooo expensive , it's very easy to do yourself you can purchase a pumping system that virtually does it for you, the coolant change is simples

Skoda UK's national pricing offer for brake fluid change is £45 and that is what I paid last week. Why does her Ibiza need a coolant change?

That's what they recommended...or that's what they have told her.

Looking on the seat website, a brake fluid change should be £49.00

Wouldn't bother with coolant change

Just get brake fluid done

That's about the right price for a main dealer, They do recommend a coolant and brake fluid every 2 years but modern fluids and a newish car that isn't driven within an inch of it's life don't need the fluids changed this often.   3 or 4 years is more realistic.
