Right i may found a octavia vrs 51 plate

Personally I would stay away.

If you have any doubt (ie the gearbox) just say no.

It may be cheap at

Gearbox on mine is silky smooth.

As Mark says, see what warranty they're offering. It could either turn out to be a little bargain, or a whole lot of trouble.

yeah , have decided not to go ahead get that vrs .

Me and wife was discuss abt leave it for time being till after xmas .. as the new skoda octavia coming so wait till price come down a bit.

So look like i am keepin my golf mk4 GTI for while.

Think thats a wise decision.

Though I don't think I can wait till the new Octavia vRS comes out to buy mine :-)
