You didn't way what your budget was or why you were lowering? track days, fast road, looks etc?

Bilstein b12 kit gets great write ups but won't drop you 30mm, more like 15mm.

One of the options i looked at before i got my H&R monotube coilovers was the "comfort" spec cup-kit that they do. Given how well my H&R coils ride i'd expect these to be very good: H&R Part Number: 40260-1: Vehicle SKODA OCTAVIA MK 2 ESTATE (1Z5)2.0 RS; COMFORT suspension. 55mm strut.

Personally i wouldn't poly bush a road car - go for something like a superpro antilift kit on the front or TT bushes and it'll be much better without being harsh.

02p etc.

I've got a b12 kit on my vrs I agree with rob_e doesn't lower much 15 mm is about right handles and drives lovely tho

Sorry lol it'll only be for road use just to stiffen her up and stop some of the boatiness. Ive not really thought of a budget as I would like a good set of shocks and springs for good money, if that makes sense?

Also sorry whats an antilift kit? And what bushes from the tt would I need? Quite new to the octavias.

FK sport suspension, aka cup kit in America.Very affordable if ordered directly from FK Automotive.I hope I'm not breaking any forum rules. If I am,please delete my post.

In that case, go with a bilstein b12 kit. modest lowering, good quality dampers= good ride and handling, not too expensive.

The anti-lift kit is effectivly a modified console (wishbone) bush that gives you tweaked geometry that improves the way the car turns-in. V popular mod (especially on gti's which have the same suspension). On mine i achieved a similar setup at the front by using S3 allow wishbones, adjustable ball joints and the stiffer s3 console bushes. THis is a more expensive way to achieve the same geometry but has the benefit of adjustability and unsprung weight saving too.

If you only do one thing, do the b12 kit and get the car set to factory geometry. This is the biggest bang for your buck in terms of improving the way the car rides and handles.

If you want to go one step further, put a stiffer rear anti-roll bar on the car. e.g. H&R. No downsides interms of ride but car stays flatter in the corners, understeers less.

One step more then have a super-pro anti lift kit too.
