It would appear they are still willing to take your money

http://www.tiny.com/

Even one or two 'special' offers.

Ooo, Grant Thornton are involved again.

I can see a pattern here, watch someone buy the names and shops and factories. It will happen.

Almost certainly mate.

If you read the comments from employees they have been told to put signs on the door saying closed for stocktaking.

Ahhh i used to work at the their headquarters on tech support...i cant say im surprised...everything about the company just stank.

For who, Tiny or Time? I've worked for both. Tiny doing tech support (though I was working for Inkfish Call Centres) and Time (Granville) for sales in Eastbourne.

Still waiting to be paid by Granville, would now be a bad time?

I've found myself fixing a few of their products.

Overpriced junk, if you ask me.

Phil

I worked for Time and then Time/Tiny when they did the name buying at the their headquarters in burnley. I still have nightmares about that place 3 years on...

I was there when the tech support was being moved up north. You may even have read my notes at some point, small world and all that

I'm guessing they took on a lot of people all at once? I can guess that by some of the daft comments left by the northerners, some which were clearly meant so that the customer has to call back, and make more money I guess.

They really should have left it down south with us lot, we knew the Tiny computers inside out and what will work and what just won't. Whoever decided to give away those digital camera's mind (I forget the name but it was something daft like magicam/funcam) needs shooting.

I think what will happen is someone will buy out the names etc, but won't support the warranties entirely, ie they will fix them but charge. It will save the company a very large wad of cash, remembering they don't need to pay wages for a month too.

Overpriced junk' date=' if you ask me.

When Tiny were actually Tiny, they weren't all that bad I think.

Where I work we used to have 350+ Tiny computers, they went downhill just before Time bought them, reliability on later hardware was terrible. We had been using them since the PII 233MHZ processor was around many years ago. All the PC's are now replaced but the old ones carry on in users homes.
