Are you sure? They have 4 or 5 different sized chains with a load of tyre sizes listed, I'd be surprised if they don't fit the VRS.

I think their size 90 chains fit 205/50/17, anybody who has them that can confirm at all?.

Yes, the Lidl size 90 snow chains fit that size, along with these

14s: 195/75/14, 195/80/14, 205/70/14, 215/65/14, 225/60/14, 245/40/14

15s: 185/75/15, 195/70/15, 205/65/15, 215/60/15, 225/50/15, 225/55/15

16s: 175/75/16, 195/65/16, 205/55/16, 215/50/16, 225/45/16,

17s: 205/50/17, 205/70/17, 215/45/17, 225/45/17, 235/40/17

 

From what I remember the size 100s are too big for the standard Yeti 225/50/17 and don't fit the other 215/60/16 winter tyre size either.

 

Update: Opened them to see how the fit on and the other sizes are listed on the instructions. The 100 size does list the 225/50/17, but the manual states snow chains can only be used at the back (so only the 4x4 models) on that size (presume not enough clearance).

It's not the tyre size it's the gap between the wheel and the arches. Checked it out last year. You can get chains to fit but not for £19.

you need the 6J 16" steels to run them at the front.
