Octavia DSG flywheel failure

Hi guys,

I found the forum trying to research a bit of evidence relating to my Octavia. Its an 07 2.0 TDI, DSG estate. Cold it starts fine but once it is warm it is difficult to start and releasing the starter results in a loud clunk that shakes the car. I have had it looked at by my trusted local independent and they say the flywheel needs replacing, eat. £300 for the part plus six hours labour. The car was mine from new has been serviced as per the schedule including cambelt change by main dealer. Done only 64k.

Contacted Skoda who want it in to a dealer. Any advice appreciated
