I rather hastily lashed the exhaust off the estate I broke for parts onto my pickup last night, after the one on my pickup fell apart. To be fair, I probably did a pretty bad job of it. It's not a great fit, so I'm just trying to work out if it's me or if it's not supposed to fit?

 

Bosal seem to indicate the same system for the pickup and the car, but they don't explicitly list a 1.6 pickup system.

Klarius list the same system, but with two different rear sections, one for estate, one for pickup. 

 

Being a tight git at heart, I'd rather not buy a part I don't need, and the Klarius rear sections for the pickup are somewhat spendy. 

I think they're different, car part numbers start 6U0, van 6U6 and estates 6U9.  The vans have a different rear suspension set up, so I would think that the rear exhausts are different.

Ah right, that could explain why it was sitting close to the spring. To be honest, I didn't pay much attention to the estate's rear suspension. Are they coil over shock?

I'm fairly sure that the hatch and estate rear suspension is spring over shock, whereas the vans have a separate spring to the shock.

The hatch and estates do have different rear axel set up to the pick up...
