Will this fit in a passat estate?

Featured Replies

I need to move an arcade machine a couple of miles at the weekend http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=6193632237&rd=1&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWA%3AIT&rd=1

I'm told it's 30 inches wide , 29 inches deep and 71 inches high.

Do you reckon that will go in the back of a passat estate with the back seats down and the front seats shuffled forwards?

Failing that don't suppose anyone local has a transit near stourbridge and half an hour to spare at the weekend?

Can't help with moving it, but Gauntlet II! Had it on the ST and loved it :D

I've got a Roadblasters machine as well , plus another cabinet with a PC running MAME inside it. This is going to be the last one as I don't have any more room at the mo but it should be good for a few beers with friends

Do you want to transport or do you want to fit it in the Passat ? :D:rofl:

Hehehehe , I need to take it home and I can borrow the Passat from work.

Still , as in-car-entertainment it would be hard to beat.

You may have to take the control board off first just reach inside the coin door and unclip the (I think 4 clips) and undo the the plugs for the wiring .......I would think it would fit we used to get all sorts of machines in the back of astra estates....incuding rowe ami juke boxes

Would be a new and different idea instead of the common PSII

Cool , ta.

Just make sure the monitor is well screwd in before you tip it back.....we had one explode and write off the car

I can get tables which are 1.8m long in the back of the octy with the seats down which is more than 71" so a passat should be fine.
