Hi All

Did a quick search but nothing found so hope this is not a repeat post?

Took swmbo Citigo into Plymouth last night( no chance a bright green vRS was being left in a busy drinking spot :) ).

I live out on Dartmoor and OMG how bad are the dipped beam lights!

I have not driven it at night to notice before but I was looking for the beam adjuster as the light seemed to cut off at about 6m in front.

I had to keep flicking to main beam as it was dangerous.

1. Is there are dipped beam adjuster?

2. Anyone else suffer this?

3. What have you done to improve it?

This was the length of beam only the light in the patch that was lit was fine.

Regards

Dipped beam adjuster is a rotary knob on the fascia to the right of the steering wheel and down a bit. (where it is on most VAG cars Ive owned...where the instrument cluster brightness should be)

It is on the Sport anyway.

I agree the lights are not the best though.

Many people have upgraded bulbs to Nightbreakers or similar

I haven't yet, but plan to soon

Cheers Damo...found it!

I was fumbling around by the left of the main light switch it is up on the next ledge and yes it was on no3, no wonder I could not see. :)

Still may upgrade the lamps though as my night breaker plus on the vRS are so white in comparison.

Loads of bulb threads on here mate,

Do a search and you'll see.

I just wish we had projector headlights... I'd have a set of HID's fitted quicker than you could say "Illegal modification!"
