Hello all. I have spoken to Jonathan Lawless at carfile.net (very nice chap btw) this week who confirms their Skoda dealer can offer 5% discount when buying on the 0% Skoda Finance deal.

Has anyone had any joy with asking their local dealer to match it or come close to it?

Hi Timwolf, I had exactly the same deal offered by carfile. I went back to my local dealer & they matched it (without to much huffing & puffing). That was on a pre fl 4wd SE+ in August. Hope that helps.

Pretty sure you can get in excess of 7% now with 0% finance.

I got just over 9% off the FL pricing with 0% finance, but that included the £700 saving from ordering early on the extended pre-fl pricng, so I guess that was about a 6% discount off the pre-fl pricing.

I got about 6% discount through Carwow on a F/L Yeti Elegance with 0% finance and 3yr free servicing ordered Middle November, but i had to order with Alex Lawrie in Liverpool 100 miles away to get this discount. My local dealer couldn't match this and even sent me a txt telling me to take the deal even though I wanted to buy locally. A friend has ordered a new VRS hatch with the local dealer but seemed quite miffed when I him what discount I got. IMO you have to shop around so that you get the best deal, that rule applies with everything these days. Happy shopping!

I would be happy if the local dealer could give a reasonable discount say 3 or 4 % (plus a competitive price for my trade in). I just don't want to be told they can't give discount because of the 0% offer when I know there are significant discounts out there if you shop around.

Well done. I'm sure it's been mentioned on here before about discounts etc especially with the 0% finance! Get the best deal you can and are happy with. Are you ordering with Alex Lawrie and what you getting?

Placed an order 22nd Dec. Dealer matched it. And gave me a decent pt-ex price as well. Happy days.
