Had my 58 plate 170 pd vrs remapped today by chris from performance remap gloucester this afternoon.Really nice guy who actually came to my house & did it.He was recommended to me by a local company who do race cars etc so thought id give him a try.The reviews on his facebook page were great also which was another reason i chose him.Once remap was done we went for a test drive, me driving & chris in the passenger seat with his laptop plugged in monitoring the car throughout the drive.Everything exactly as it should be & as he expected.I obviously expected more power & was not dissapointed!!!! Followed this post with interest as I'd been considering a remap for a while but couldn't really see myself getting the c£400 cost past SWMBO. Seeing that this was £175, I thought I would take the plunge.

 

Result? My VRS has gone from being quick enough to put a smile on my face to being laugh out loud funny! Acceleration in gear is truly phenomenal and Chris was really helpful and professional. The map itself if smooth and you wouldn't notice it unless putting your foot down (when you wouldn't be able to miss it!!) 

 

Overall, I'm really happy and would recommend Chris to anyone who was looking for a reasonably priced remap and who lives within shouting distance of Gloucester. It has given my car a new lease of life!

Please both, the cars were both healthy and logged as they should.
