I've been reading the Drivers Manual pdf to try to find out if my Rapid locks the boot lid after it has travelled a few tens of yards and if it locks all doors when it reaches 15 mph.

 

If both of these things happen they will both be cancelled, I think, if I open the driver's door to get out to check.

 

I can't find anything in the pdf.

 

The pdf version does say :-

Particular features of the central locking system can be enabled or disabled by a

specialist garage."    but it does not say what the particular features are.

 

I think the pdf version is a catch-all version covering all markets not  just the UK even though it is in English.

I think this because it refers to a boot release button on the drivers door and a key barrel in the boot lid etc.neither of which do I have.

 

Can anyone throw any light on the matter please.

If yours has the auto-locking enabled then you will hear it lock shortly after you move off and the padlock symbol on the buttons below the aircon controls will light up.

 

I presume this locks the boot too but I don't know for sure.
