Hi all, I cannot see any any Marking POINT on the Plastic sill cover,as per Handbook page 212 of my 2012 YETI se PLUS,the joint in the Floor is a bit wider where the Jack would go,about 2'' from the Wheel arch.Do I need new Glasses,or what,please advise thanks.Strapper.  

triangles on underside if memory serves - had similar probs, eventually found em after about 18 months

They are not easy to see or feel, took me ages to identify even with a torch and a cloth in the comfort of my carport.
Wouldnt rate my chances at the side of a road. Varifocals upside down dont help either.

Why they don't they just put small triangles indented in the vertical face of the plastic sills?

Where they are located you almost need to lie on the floor to see especially if covered in mud/crud and difficult to feel.

Wouldn't detract from the appearance too.

I thought the marker triangles were very difficult to find, too.  I eventually put splodges of yellow acrylic paint on the web where you are supposed to locate the jack (per the user manual; page 217 in the May 2013 edition) - after cleaning off the muck.  They're still visible three years later and would be easy to renew if they started to get too worn.

I found the front ones fairly easy to find but the back ones quite tricky - the splodge of paint seems an excellent idea.

I did the same but used a dab of white touch up.
