Door indicator staying on

Featured Replies

Hi guys, I'm new to this forum and to skoda, so please take it easy on me, about 2 weeks ago my other halfs 2008 skoda fabia 1.9tdi 5 door started saying the door was open, just some history on the car, it's had all sorts of leaks and has unfortunately not been very water tight over the years. So I disconnected the door lock and the indicator still alerted. Disconnected the comfort module and issues disappear, so plugged the door lock in and issues are still gone, so plugged the module back in but 2 days later the same issues reappear, so I unplugged the connector in between the bellows and it's fine, so I figure it's a issue with the wiring in the door? That's as far as I have got? Any ideas? I'm stuck

Thanks in advance

Stefan
