         I need to get a new head unit. The one I had in my old car was an Alpine that had a ipod connector on the back of it which I plumbed into the glove box to hide the ipod. I could control all apects of the ipod from the head unit. Is there one similar to this available to buy under 150 smackers? All the ones I've seen are USB on the front and will look lame.

What are people using? Thanks.

have alook at the pioneer head units they do a ipod app unit

I had the bluetooth version of this it was a great unit, I ended up streaming music from my phone through bluetooth more than the ipod.

Harvey, how easy was it to scroll through the music when connected to the ipod? Thanks.

TBH mate I used to just put it on shuffle and let it go, sorry bud.
