SKODA Ensurance

Featured Replies

Received through the wed today a free offer on genuine Skoda approved repairers & genuine Skoda parts if my car is involved in an accident.

This runs alongside existing insurance for three years and is for new & not so new Skoda's.

Anybody heard of it/taken/used it?

More info;

Ensurance ® Now free to all ŠKODA customers for three years and only takes a minute to get cover!

Ensurance is ŠKODA’s accident and repair cover, which works alongside your main motor insurance policy to help you if your ŠKODA is damaged in an accident or stolen.

We understand that being involved in an accident and having to deal with lots of companies can be really stressful and time consuming. That’s why we’ve designed Ensurance to take care of everything for you. A dedicated claims manager will be available for you to contact 24 hours a day, they will look after the entire claim from start to finish – liaising with your motor insurer, any third parties and our ŠKODA Insurance approved repairers.

They will also arrange for your vehicle to be recovered and taken to a ŠKODA Insurance approved repairer to be repaired by ŠKODA trained technicians who will only use ŠKODA parts and paints. And where possible, we make sure the repairer provides you with a courtesy car to get you back on the road.

And the best bit…… Ensurance is now free to all ŠKODA customers for three years. It only takes a minute to get cover, simply click here and add your name, contact and vehicle details.

I recieved the same offer via email today.

It's been discussed on Brisky before - clicky

Basically it's Skoda's take on being a claims manager if you're unlucky enough to have an accident.  It's win-win really - you get your car repaired by a Skoda approved repairer rather than the insurers default repairer, and in return Skoda keep repair business within their network, and it's free.

Pleased someone found the old thread :)

I had an email about it around 6 months ago. I couldn't see any reason not to go for it.

No cost and they take over in the event of an accident and ensure that your Skoda is repaired at Skoda approved centres etc.

I just had the same mailing (I guess) that others received - but as said, cannot see why you wouldn't go for it. Not as if you HAVE to use it.

Just signed up, seems there is no reason not to :)
