30k and mine is slipping very slightly. Given its a wear and tear item I have an uphill warranty battle, been here before with Honda with no joy so probably no chance with Skoda methinks. Really ****ed off, but on the +ve side I'm looking at fitting an uprated clutch and then a remap. Anyone in the Cardiff / Newport area recommended? Would get an H&R RARB fitted at same time.

I've got the Sachs clutch. A little heavier than oem but would thoroughly recommend it. Handles stage 2 with ease.

+1 Sachs.  A little juddery until bedded in - a few hundred miles, then nice and smooth.

30,000 miles seems a little previous.   Only ever bought 1 clutch (because of the DMF) and I am well on the way to two million miles.  2 vehicles at least over 200,000 miles.

Whiteline adjustable RARB works well too.

We've used the Sachs with great success in lots of cars, including K04 350+bhp with no problem. A little heavier than standard but more than up to the job.

Typically how much is the kit bought independently?

 

Having to replace the rear pads and discs, plus the VED is due by the 31st isn't helping...:(
