Well she is one year old now and has been a perfect baby. After so many company cars over the last 35 years the decision to buy a Yeti on my retirement was a big one. I can honestly say the last 12 months of driving have been an absolute pleasure. The comfort, the little luxuries, the quiet engine and dream gearbox has made every run out a great experience.

Touch wood, so far not a  single problem, one free service and fuel consumption around 40.7 mpg, what more could anyone ask.

I try to rub this in to the brigade who kept saying "surely you are not going to buy a Skoda", but I know I will continue to waste my time as they drive there unreliable French, and expensive to run German cars around, but smugly keep just a smile on my face when they get a ride in Yeti and say "this is a surprisingly comfortable car"

Possibly a boy mate, our Octavia is up to 172k miles now and sadly may have to go. I am considering a 4 x 4 boy friend Yeti for her
