Well i went to fit my mk4 golf recaros into my octy, and well the bloody airbag plug is different, vrs is small black 2 pin and golf one is a huge yellow one! how did ppl get around this, dont really want to cut wires about, but no doubt i will have to?

Yep, good point - but you would have had to if it did (eg 'wrc' edition, elegance, etc)

plug on the vrs seats is for the seatbelt clasp, just leave it unplugged- no more annoying bongs when u start the engine then either

Aha! never realised that the vrs seats had no side airbags, the recaros do.
