Sell the RS 5 and get this in a year?

Featured Replies

With Audi not producing anything that wows me as a complete package and the fact that there are hundreds of them on the road I may drive something cheap for a year and then get this once someone kindly takes the initial depreciation for me:

Do it Nicky :) they look sexual

Have you had a go in an F type yet?

Took one out a couple of weeks ago, it was nice but just seemed a little lacking in something.

How about a year old R8 V10?

Have to say did take an RS5 from Maidstone down to Tetbury on Thursday and the bring an S5 back, enjoyed the S5 more.

Good call.

Have a drive before you set your heart on it though. :)

I really liked your RS5, but it does look too similar to a regular 5 with a styling pack.

I still think Audi is best served as a fast four wheel drive estate.

I know someone who bought one a month ago and after several faults he's been given his money back by Jaguar.

They make some good products, provided you don't get stuck with a duff one.

Never had the best faith in JLR build quality.  Being a Range Rover owner saw to that. :D

What response did this question get on the Audi forum?

Have you saw the 2014 mustang yet, I'm not an American car lover but the new strange is sexy.

Isn't that the one they're releasing in the uk without the v8 option?

I think they all stated they want one as well. A lot of icons worshipping the sound it makes.

Good shout on the drive though.

The V10 is the other choice but this has more drama and looks better to me.

I much prefer the RS to the S myself. It's just more epic especially with my custom exhaust and ceramic brakes.

I will ask for a go in an F-type after Christmas.

I was near to the Jaguar site and saw something that looked just like, that , complete with some meaty exhausts on the roundabout just before the turn off.

Whatever it was, it obviously wasn't a finished car, but it made one hell of a noice it made.

If I decided to spend big money on a car, it'd be thg over the audi.

Out of interest, has anyone driven an A6 and an XF.

The XF is a stunning cruiser, even in 2.2D rather than 3.0 version.

Done plenty of miles in an A6 and RS6.

A6 you need something higher in the Range than an SE, they are just a little soft in the Suspension area, all cruse very nicely.

RS6 is just a Monster at full attack, but just as happy sitting in traffic in towns with no adverse affect.

Only Driven one XF and that had 60,000 miles on it and felt as though it wouldn't last many more, but then it was a pretty unloved car that was a trade in.

I had a fully loaded A6 loan car and it was bloody lovely. Actually made a nice change from the RS 5 as it so comfortable and very refined.

The RS 6 is another level though, I just feel if I had 100k I would get something else though. Like an F-type R and an Octavia estate.
