True!

Although it does say "warranty available".

Whatever that means...

That means they will sell you a third-party warranty covered by an insurance policy that will have huge amounts of small print in it and in practice will cover almost nothing because every fault you find will be found to be "normal wear and tear".

Righto, thanks for that info....

Why cant i be happy with what i've got? lol

Mate don't bother. The build quality is very very poor. They maybe quick but they are also becoming a ch4v status IMHO. Dealer service is really poor and for that price I suspect it is an import so residuals are going to be very low.

Can you tell I owned one before ;) Mcbunny also used to have one, thats how we met.

By law, they have to supply you with a 3 month warranty, but as Nick says check the small print as there are exclusions galore! To compare, when I bought my Mondeo, the garage gave me their 3-month premium warranty (would I like to extend to 12 months for a fee?) which has a claim limit of

Low mileage isn't nec. a good thing on a 3 year old car. ;) Means lots of potentially short journeys not letting the engine warm up, etc. :)

I'd sooner go for a 50k 3 year old car, than one with 20k.

Or it was used a weekend car rather than wasting sitting in traffic jams on the motorway :P

:P I prefer the "1 mile commute" theory :D

I must admit i know what people say about poor build quality and what have you, but the reliability surely can be nowhere near as bad as the Golf, and I have to say i have my heart almost set on one - i've always wanted one, and you only live once. The payments dont seem to be that bad, so i think i probably will go for one eventually.

If it's that bad, you can always sell it and buy another car you've always wanted to own ;):D

I just dunno what to do, I am so confused :o

Some people tell me to do it, others tell me that it will be fine when I get everything sorted. I dont really want all the debt, I just want to enjoy driving again.

Sometimes I think I am a lost cause with my inability to make my mind up with things :o

Whenever I have to make a decision, I always find it easier to make a list of pros and cons for each way the decision can go and then rate them in order of importance. Helps me to see the whole picture before I plump one way or the other :D

Actually, probably best to ignore that advice - I ended up with a Mondeo :o:rofl:

Chris

If you buy it you will loose money on it..

It is a fun car to drive but you will be on first name terms with the dealer before long.

They are not really tunable as they are in a high state of tune allready, a chip will add maybe 5-10 bhp max.

Don't buy French! Just don't.

Dont bother. Insurance costs are high and reliability is c**p

At the end of the day its a Renault and it will not hold its value if the thing doesnt fall apart by the time you sell it

If it's that bad' date=' you can always sell it and buy another car you've always wanted to own ;):D

Waiter! Saucer of milk for table 5 please! :cat:

It can y'know.

We've got a 12-month old 182 on our fleet, that's lived in the garage from new, plagued with ECU and starting problems.

Lol! Wasn't meant like that. :P I just meant if he buys a dud, it's not the end of the world, and he can always buy another car he's wanted to experience :D

Do what your mind tells you. Nothing more powerful than that. Remember..your mind, not your heart.
