Putting this here to hopefully get it more views.

 

Im after a decent place to get an exhaust made up and having a read around it seems people have different standards. What some say are great others write off completely lol. For example my recent exhaust made by a powerflow dealer in Birmingham. Metal used was great, welding great but when bending the pipe they havent kept the correct diameter :(

 

I am going to require hangers welding ontop a downpipe plus the rest of the system to be made up. Half thinking of a side exit as fed up with the car getting filthly lol.

 

Any reconmendations and possible pictures of the work done ? A rough price on the work would be cool too give me an idea of what to expect.

Long life seem pretty good, can't comment on their bends etc though, but that's what annoys me about my custom exhaust, the diameter changes at the bends etc, mine only cost me about £250 for a full system!

Nice company to deal with, massive stocks, I've only ever used thier mail order services for custom build parts like elbows and reducers myself, but they have a pretty good reputation for thier one-off custom built stuff.

 These guys are well thought of in Stafford and the surrounding area. Do a lot of race prep and are just off the main drag from J13 of the M6.

What tip are you going for? I'm putting a back box on mine like I had before to get rid of the whistle on idle incase I end up selling it so will end up with a twin or a oval :(

I've had two MIJ exhausts. Current one is on my mk2 Octavia vRS TFSI. Very good quality and the fitment of the exhaust is perfect. The tail pipes are perfectly aligned in the standard vRS exhaust cut out in the rear bumper.

Sounds amazing too! All for £295 fitted!
