Octavia fl stereo problem

I have an octavia fl that have this type of radio , its suddenly stop working , checked all fuses boxes and the fuse behing all seem okay , what is the problem ? Whats alternatives ?

Use a multimeter and check for 12V on both the 12V supply lines behind the headunit. Both 12V lines are always on, if you get 12V on both then the fault is inside the stereo. You may get a away with disconnecting the quadlock for 5 mins and then plugging it back in again.

An electrition checked the wiring and it was fine removed the whole radio and connected ot alone it ddnt turn on ... It seems the problem is in the radio ... Wt to do ????

Plus i founded a sliver mid sized device under my passenger seat although they manually work .. Could this be oem amplifire ?

The amplifier will be there if your car has the upgraded sound system, standard system uses the amplifier built into the stereo. Before the facelift the upgraded sound system had three speakers in each of the front doors, the standard system used two speakers.

I have the fl with a two speaker system in each door ... Now what should i do about the stereo ? :(

For no apparent reason the stereo worked again ! :D but now no bluetooth no parking sensor no climate control appeares on the screen , and show cd error with no cd in , and doesnt turnoff on its own when i remove the switch , the only thing that is working is the radio fm :(

it does sound like the headunit is faulty. Maybe worth paying the extortionate fee to get skoda to look as they will have a headunit to replace it with and test if the headunit is faulty
